NINJA

Main, Succession

[Updates] August 14, 2024 (Wed) Update Details (10)Ninja had to include different skills with bleeding, burn, and poison effects to achieve meaningful damage over time effects.
With this change, the damage over time effects are unified into a single poison effect, allowing even one skill hit to hinder HP recovery for the duration.
Additionally, with the recent special evasion update, overall Max HP and HP Recovery have increased, so poison has been changed to deal high damage over a short period. This adjustment aims to highlight Ninja Succession's characteristic of pressuring opponents with damage over time.

  • Changed all Succession skills with burn, bleed, or poison damage effects to a unified poison effect, which now requires learning Prime: Shadow Blade for the effect to apply.
    • Changed the poison damage effect to inflict 280 damage every 2 sec for 6 sec, accordingly.
    • Changed the following skills to reflect the updated damage-over-time effect:
      • Prime: Malicious Cut, Prime: Shadow Slash, Prime: Fatal Blow, Prime: Heart Aiming, Prime: Fox Claw, Prime: Blade Spin, Prime: Dark Frenzy, Succession: Crescent Slash, Succession: Ankle Cutter, Covert: Cut Throat
        * When using Prime: Malicious Cut buff, the poison effect is enhanced, inflicting 840 damage every 2 sec for 6 sec.

  • Removed the burn effect, and changed it to attack damage.

[Updates] August 14, 2024 (Wed) Update Details (12)We've increased the variety of main skill choices when attempting debuff skills after engaging multiple enemies at once.
As before, you can aim for debuffs immediately upon entry with "Murderous Intent", opt for "Bloodthirst: Katana Shower" for advantageous mass suppression, or choose "Drastic Measure" for a reliable second debuff effect.
Additionally, we've changed the Black Spirit's Rage consumption for "Black Spirit: Sura ChaoSpree" to 50%, allowing for mass suppression attempts when Black Spirit's Rage is available.

  • Added the Super Armor effect during the skill and changed the Stiffness effect on hits to apply only in PvE.
    • Changed to apply the Stiffness effect in PvP when Core: Murderous Intent is learned, accordingly.

  • Changed as follows:
    • Changed to consume 50% of Black Spirit's Rage.
      • Changed to apply the Knockdown debuff in PvP on hits.
    • Added Stiffness effect before hit.
    • Changed to allow immediate attack after moving when comboed with Shadow Slash during the skill.
    • Changed the defensive effect: Forward Guard → Super Armor.
    • Improved to allow canceling into Ghost Step or Ninja Step while entering the Batto Stance.

  • The official Arena of Solare season has ended.

TOP 1 Rewards by Class

  • Characters of Adventurers who have ranked 1st in each class in the official Arena of Solare season, will be made into NPCs and placed in the Battle Arena.
    • Please note that the saved appearance (excluding outfits) of your character will be updated accordingly during the weekly maintenance.
      • Please note that any customizations deemed inappropriate may be changed or removed entirely.
    • For the displayed NPC version of your character, please provide the outfit set (excluding limited/collaborative or special outfits) you wish to equip according to the guidelines mentioned in the letter sent to your Mail (B).
      • You must provide the above information before the next maintenance. If your submitted information does not match the guidelines, it may be selected randomly.

TOP 100 Reward - 1. Solare Knight Outfit

  • Adventurers who ranked among the top 100 in the official Arena of Solare season will receive the [Solare Knight Outfit Box] via in-game mail (B).
    • Open the box with the character you wish to obtain the Solare Knight Outfit.
    • The following images show the Warrior, Valkyrie, and Shai equipped with the Solare Knight Outfit.

TOP 100 Reward - 2. Arena of Solare Honorary Title

  • The "Solare Knight" title will be sent through in-game Mail (B) for players who ranked in the top 100 for the official Arena of Solare season.
    • To obtain the item, right-click on the title item attached to the letter.
    • This title can be used until the end of the following official season of Arena of Solare.

  • The Glorious Solare Box will be issued via in-game Mail (B) for players who ranked in the top 100 for the official Arena of Solare season.

  • Fixed the issue where the barrier of the Dekrogda Artifact did not disappear when the Command Post of the defending guild/alliance was destroyed with more than one Dekrogda Artifact remaining during Conquest War.

UI

  • Changed so that the navigation guide and friend/guild member login notifications are not displayed while conversing with NPCs.
  • Improved the visibility of subtitles in illustration videos by adding an outline to the font.
  • Fixed the "Use Cron Stone" button to remember the last selected status during equipment enhancement.
    • Reopening the enhancement window with the "Use Cron Stone" button activated would maintain the activated status.

※ "Use Cron Stone" button will be deactivated when placing equipment that cannot use Cron Stones.

※ "Use Cron Stone" button will be deactivated if you do not have the required quantity of Cron Stones.

※ Saved (selected) activated status will be reset upon closing the game.

  • Fixed the issue where the graphic driver download URL at the bottom of the Official Website - Download page would not link you to the page corresponding to the language in use.
  • Added a "View More (⋮)" menu when using the BDO TV page in mobile view.
    • Through this menu, you can find news and updates from Pearl Abyss.

TRANSLATION

  • Changed and unified the following in Indonesian:
    • Fixed the below typo.
    • Korps Soryeon, Korps Seoryeon → Korps Seoryeon

  • Fixed the issue where fishing was possible in certain locations that were not rivers or the sea.
  • Fixed the issue where the new item effect was displayed on the Pearl inventory when purchasing a Character Slot Expansion Coupon that is immediately used.
  • Fixed the issue where Purified Water and Star Anise Tea in the Family Inventory were not used up by the Fairy skill Inexhaustible Well.
  • Changed so that the Red Battlefield entry button is not displayed on the left side of the minimap on the Arsha server.
  • Fixed the issue where some vegetation in Cyclops Land was positioned unnaturally.
  • Fixed the issue where the appearance was exposed unnaturally when equipping [Dusa] Azure Sky Armor.
  • Fixed the following issues in the consecutive quest "I Want to Be Like Father!" which expands inventory slots.
    • Fixed the auto-run location for the quest "Mercenary's Diary - Forest Ronaros."
    • Fixed the quest image for "Mercenary's Diary - Sherekhan Necropolis (Night)" to match the objective.
  • Fixed the issue where the description of Ascension Skills (such as Blessing of Taebaek) would also be displayed when checking the skill description registered in the quick slot in certain situations.
  • Changed and fixed the following issues when using the gamepad-exclusive UI.
    • Fixed the issue where each menu in the Ring Menu Setting UI was not sorted and displayed by name in ascending order.
    • Fixed the issue where a different menu would occasionally open when selecting a menu.
  • [Corsair] Fixed the issue where the lenses of the Ocean Shades would move together when adjusting the facial customization.
  • Fixed the issue where character controls became unavailable when opening and closing the Pearl Shop from the NPC repair window.
  • Fixed the issue where the navigation guide would be deactivated when entering Abyss One: the Magnus with navigation activated.
  • Fixed the issue where the camera moved abnormally in certain situations.
